Chris has been a CNA for the last 15 years, having spent the last five working on the Oncology Unit at St. Lukes Hospital, during which time she earned her certification in Complimentary Medicine (Benevolent Touch). In this capacity she provided cancer patients with Benevolent Touch, Aromatherapy and Energy Work (Reiki). She also spends abut 5-10 hours volunteering her services at various events and charities each week.
Chris studied Medical Massage at Blue Sky School of Professional Massage and Theraputic Bodywork. Her specialty is Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, a deep tissue massage which addresses site specific muscle pain and lack of motion. She also possesses the following certifications: Lymphatic Massage; Cranial Sacral Massage; Hot Stone Massage; Swedish Massage; Acupressure; Lomi Lomi I & II; Tui Na; Aromatherapy; Reiki I, II, III and Master Instructor; Reflexology; Cancer, AIDS and Post-Mastectomy Massage; Mother’s Massage; and Hydrotherapy.
